Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body and mind. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, mobility, stability, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance.
Suitable for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels: for new and future mothers (pregnancy: pre- and post-natal); athletes and dancers of all levels who want to improve technique and balance; people recovering from injury; and the elderly.
The session will start connecting with the breath and aligning the body. We will continue with a warm-up followed by exercises that promote the benefits of Pilates until closing out the session with stretching.
Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects posture, restores vitality, invigorates the mind and elevates the spirits. Let the teacher know about all your injuries and any other problems related to body and emotions.
